Slim folio pro pairing ipad pro how to#
No fluid-damage or sticky keys, really nothing out of the ordinary.Īnyone know what this is, what caused it or how to fix it? I’m not even sure if it’s a software or hardware problem at this point.

But even after reconnecting the bluetooth, nothing changed. challenging, as it asks for a number-code input on the keyboard (the numbers don’t correspond to the right keys either). I’ve turned my ipad off and on and tried reconnecting the bluetooth connection, which was. The keyboard seems to working fine otherwise, no problem with the battery, lights or the other function keys (volume up/down, play/pause, etc.) No recent update of iPadOS can explain the sudden change, but I have since experiencing the problem updated to the latest version of 14.6, which brought no change. I tried looking online for a solution, but I can’t seem to find anything like the problem I’m having. I’ve also noticed some keys give the same output as others but weirdly enough, key-combinations (cmd+a, cmd+c, etc.) seem to work as they should.

Some keys even make the cursor jump up a row while typing. It’s almost like the characters are ‘mapped’ wrong - most keys display wrong characters, some keys display multiple characters. I feel pretty confident that it's not a keyboard language setting/problem as it concerns all keys, even the number and arrows keys. My slim folio pro keyboard suddenly hasn’t been working properly on my ipad pro 2018 (12,9 inch).
